Example of photographs from the glass plate collection of George Edward Anderson.
The first photograph, originally made from
a George E. Anderson glass plate, has been
in our family for many years. It is yellow,
faded and torn.
The second photograph was made from
the same glass negative in the 1970's and
is a beautiful, clear image. Even though
the resolution is difficult to display
on a computer screen, the contrast between
the older photograph and the newer one is
remarkable. This is just an example of the
photographs that may be available on your family.
